Hills District Speech Therapy clinicians are all registered Medicare Providers and therefore automatically registered with all Private Health Funds Australia wide.

You don’t need a Doctor’s referral to see a Speech Pathologist however, there are a number of funding options accessible through Hills District Speech Therapy.

Helping Children with Autism Early Intervention Funding (HCWA)

All Hills District Speech Therapy clinicians are FAHCSIA and BetterStart registered providers.
This program was established to help kids with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. It enables children and their families to have access to early intervention services such as speech pathology and occupational therapy. Children under the age of 7 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder are able to have access to up to $6000 per financial year, with the limit of the funding being $12,000 in total. Read more…

Better Start for Children with a Disability Initiative

This initiative was set up to help family’s access early intervention services for children with specific diagnoses such as Down Syndrome, Hearing Loss, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X and many other eligible syndromes. The funding arrangements are the same as above. Read more…

NDIS – National Disability Insurance Scheme

Hills District Speech Therapy is fully NDIA registered and approved.

We are currently providing services to dozens of NDIS funded clients. You may access our service as self-managed or agency managed. We offer a large range of service types and service delivery methods including both on and offsite consultations.

Please contact us and we will gladly talk through each step of the process.

We will also happily assist new participants with their NDIS applications, as we know the maze of paperwork and procedures can be overwhelming.
