Due to the high demand for occupational therapy services, it is sometimes difficult to promptly arrange an assessment and/or therapy for your child. Whilst waiting for services, we encourage families to use the following resources and information to better support the development of their child’s independence.

Where do I start?

Speak to your GP/Paediatrician if you are concerned about their development

Have your child’s hearing assessed before coming in for an OT assessment.

Have your child’s vision assessed before coming in for an OT assessment.
